 Chapter 16


1. What is Katniss' offensive attack?
Katniss' offensive attack is to go and destroy all the Careers' food and supplies. She says that the Careers are always getting the food and they are trying to survive and win the hunger games. Katniss thinks they are cheating by not hunting  their own food.  Katniss wants to try to destroy all the Careers' food to see if they will be able to survive.
2. In what ways are the Careers at a disadvantage?
 The ways that the Careers are at a disadvantage is that they are trying to go through the game and cheat by not hunting for their food. They dont know how it feels not having food because they already have food stored. Careers think the game is easy because they don't have to look for food and they have a great spot to hide and their belongings.

3. What important information does Rue provide?
The important information that Rue provides is that she has to be very carefull at looking over of the Careers because they are very tricky and they could find you. Another thing that Rue tells Katniss is that she has to do different tricky way to get into the pyramid and look for food.


4. What is Rue's favorite thing? How does this connect to Katniss?
Rue's favorite thing is music. She said that when she was back home she always sang at her house and at work. Rue connects to Katniss because they both like to sing.  That that's why Rue likes Katniss' mockingjay. Rue likes Katniss' mocking jay because she always sings with mocking jay.

 
5. Why can't Katniss get to the bounty of supplies? How is she able to destroy it?
Katniss can't get to the bounty of supplies because it is mined. The whole area is full of mines that the boy from District 3 set-up because they didn't want anybody to  steal their food. Katniss is able to destroy it because she can use the bow and arrows and she destroys it by shooting arrows with apples stuck into it . As soon as the apples fell, the whole place exploded.
