Chapter 14

1. Who helps Katniss escape from the Careers? How?
Rue helps Katniss escape from the Careers. Both Katniss and Rue were on top of the same tree. Rue shows Katniss the tracker jacker nest above them. Katniss cut off the branch that had the nest and the nest went all the way down to the floor where eventually the Careers were sleeping.

2. What does
Haymitch send Katniss?

Haymitch sends Katniss a small pot of ointment for her stings that the tracker jakers left her. Katniss was so happy with her first gift she got from Haymitch.  Katniss puts the medicine on her burns which helped her a lot. The oitment left Karniss a cool sensation.
3. What does
Katniss get from Glimmer's body?Why is this so important to her?

Katniss gets bows and arrows from Glimmer's body. She wants to take them away quickly and keep them before the hovercraft comes to take her body. The bow and arrows are important to Katniss because she now has her own weapon that will help her in the hunger games and she knows she's really good with them.

4. What does
Peeta do when he finds her?
When
Peeta finds Katniss he gets  mad because she stayed in the same spot. Peeta tells Katniss to run. Katniss got confused after she left because she can't believe what did. Peeta just savd her life.

5. What are the effects of the tracker
jacker stings on Katniss?
The effects of the tracker
jacker stings on Katniss is that she is hallucinating. What made Katniss hallucinating was that she kept seeing things that weren't there. One thing that made Katniss hallucinating was that she saw ants crawling all over her body.  Another thing that happend to her was that she was tripping and falling everywhere.
